What could be more natural than a bowl of cider in Brittany!

This is one of the very first pieces of pottery I wanted to make. Why will you tell me? Already because its round shape, without a handle as we often see them, fits perfectly in the palm of the hands and it is exactly for this gesture that I developed a passion for pottery. Just holding the bolée with my two hands provides a nice feeling of contact.

Then I turn them on the potter's wheel, and this technique is almost hypnotizing, at the least relaxing and at the most creative. And not that easy, take my word for it!

You will like to use my bowls for 2 other reasons:

  • In summer, a good cider (in moderation) cold in your bowl, both hands placed around the ceramic and presto you are instantly refreshed! Contact with the clay leads the freshness to the sensitive nerves in the palms of your hands. Drink it cold and keep the bowl in your hands, it's already a great sensory experience!
  • In winter, imagine the same bowl, filled with a mulled cider with spices (always in moderation) or even a mulled wine why not? And there, in the same way you warm your hands around the bolée, and while drinking you warm your body and soul with the good invigorating cider.

For all these reasons, bolées are ceramics that I love making and that I particularly like to see you use. In Brittany yes of course, but not only that!
